What a relief! I've been thinking about you and looking forward to hearing your update. I'm so delighted it's a positive one. Also, I blame all of YOU for this! I barely slept after my night shift. Because all that would go through my head is eggs and hatching!
Checked all my eggs, and I almost cried in relief to see so many little swimmers in there.
Thank you! And wow, we made the news in Ireland??!What a relief! I've been thinking about you and looking forward to hearing your update. I'm so delighted it's a positive one.
It sounds like your storm was really bad. It was even on our news here.
Give it another day or two. It's difficult to see anything this early.48 hours in the incubator and zero sign of any development!
My past two hatches (all I can go by) I’ve seen some action. Slight veining and a spot at least at this point. Needless to say I’m concerned. They all look clear! Obviously it’s early and I’ll keep checking but oh my goodness I’m worried. Eggs were shipped and got here within 24 hours and packed so well! Blah.
On a bright note my dog hung out with the 7 week olds outside today and did so well! She’s a reactive sassy pup but a herding dog and she might have found her ‘job’ watching the chickens![]()
Set mine on Mar 17pm.All of you with chicks hatching, what day did you set them ?
