Hi!
I wish I could hatch-along with you but I just got a new pup and am busy with life
I do plan to hatch sometime in mid-April or May though.
Is a hatch-along where other people hatch along with you or they just follow you?

BYC does an annual Hatch along but these are where someone can pick an egg and root for it - you keeping them updated on their chicks progress in the egg.
Sometimes the rooter can name it also.

I candled Martha's eggs on Friday and SAW VEINS!

My eggs arrived! My hen Bella has gone broody yet again and the air cells are amazing, so I'll be popping 4 under her since she's a bantam and the rest will go in the incubator

Day 18!

I candled the eggs two nights ago. The eggs were mostly dark, with well-defined air cells.

How exciting!! It’s the final countdown!!

First bantam Cochin hatched, pipped day 19, hatched the 20th day! I have two others pipped, just hoping for a successful hatch! I’m doing a staggered hatch, I’ve got 7 others due to hatch on the 9th or 10th. I hope all those chicks are doing well even with an earlier lockdown. There’s movement so I’m hopeful!
