Chickn,
Do you have speckled sussex? I might be interested. I have been toying with the idea of cross breeding a dominique with a sussex to create a true 18th-19th century dunghill fowl (yes that is an actual term... I didn't make it up

Chickie'sMoma :

how well do you think tye-dye shirts and onsies might do there? my DH and i made a bunch for selling at a flea market we were at all last summer and we still have some left we would like to sell off.

lets hope i may have some chicks to sell off at this one. i have 12 bantam polish that should be hatching on the 15th! they should be a cross of colors. Reds crossed with whites, and WC blacks on whites. crossing my fingers to get all to hatch this time. so far all looked like they were developing!

i may even have some standard Faverolles that should be hatched by the 22nd. i ended up getting 13 eggs in to the bator and will be candling them tonight!!

ChickMagnet, my frizzled polish should be hatching by then too, so i may have one or two to give you then if you plan on being there. i'll be candling them tonight as well!

yes I will be there. let me know what you hatch.

My wife just called me and said our Dominiques are in at the feed store. It's official, we are chicken people!!
