APRIL 26TH, TSC MILFORD NH CHICKEN SWAP:

I have no clue... This is one of the other chicks I got as well. I didnt take pictures of all of them cause I didnt want to stress them out to much. Most have feathers on thier feet. All I know is that its a mix of a few things..lol
It will be interesting to see how they turn out when they are older.

YAY, my missing EE came home this morning!!!! After more hours of searching yesterday, I gave up in despair. Woke up at 7am, looked again.

My dogs started going crazy at my FRONT DOOR....and there she was, on my front door, practically ringing the bell (well, not really)...but she was sure announcing herself! I managed to catch her, calm the dogs, reunite her with her buddy, food and water...

Let's just say that coop and run won't arrive a minute too soon!!!!

Woo Hoo!!!!!-Gail

I put the one week ee's that I purchased in with my broody mom who has been sitting now for 4 weeks...then today the last egg she is sitting on hatched (23 days) and all are together now and doing quite well. Though the hatched chick is a definite peanut!!! Pictures tomorrow!

i had 3 std faverolles come back home with me yesterday. i may keep them and wait for the swap in Rochester so they will be further along and can tell if they will be ladies or gents by then. it's also a lot closer to home for us.

sorry to those who may have been waiting for me to be there by 8. we ended up taking a few wrong turns and was there after 9.

i survived with only getting one little millie fleur chick. i promised my dh i would not walk out of there with more chicks than i came with.
