I think I'll be on the look out for 2 just hatched chicks...my older girls destroyed 3 of the 4 eggs that chickn gave me

I will try and sneak them under mom at night...she has been sitting on those eggs and squawking up a storm, 21 days will be sunday, I hope the last one makes it!!!

Just heard from Tom the Bird Man,
He is bringing
Sweinholds(sp) Pheasants,
Reeves pheasants
Red golden Pheasant ( aprox 3 yrs old) fll color.
Golden Pheasant male just coming into his color.
Peacocks
Pigeons
also likely to have baby chicks of assorted variety,
Guinia Hens.

I will be looking for 6 laying hens Sunday. Is anyone bringing any started birds? Not picky but good layers. The person wanting to buy them wants fresh eggs. They just finished building a coop

OK folks, do to a turn of luck for all you swappers interested in Wyandottes, I will have 7 nine-week-old Wyandotte pullets and 2 Wyandotte cockerels of the same age. Color breakdown for pullets is:
2 Silver Laced
2 Gold Laced
1 Columbian
1 Blue laced red (looks splash maybe?)
1 Silver Penciled

The two cockerels will be blue laced reds.

I posted earlier that I was bringing a SSH cockerel. I still may but I have to watch him, he was acting kind of off yesterday so I want to make sure he will be good and healthy if I bring him. I'll watch him today and see if it was just an off day or if he will need treating for something. If he needs treatment I will not bring him Sunday, but if he does well with treatment I might have him at the May swap. Of course if it turns out he is fine then he will be with me on Sunday

I will reserve the little ones first come first served, but I will only hold them until 10am on Sunday unless you make prior arrangement to pick them up later in the day.

PRF, maybe the SSH is stalling because he wants to live with you

will you be at the May Milford swap? If you will be I might just hold him for you anyways, he is a cutey and very friendly so I wouldn't mind him hanging out for a while longer if you definitely want him. I want to go to the Parsonfield swap but not sure if that will happen.
