This would be a good idea, though!!!

Each state would have to do it separately (state laws very)

Everyone would pay a small fee in to help the 'licensed' person for their license/time upfront

That person would have to have a candling machine the grading chart and an 'egg washer' (most states)

And then there's gas prices.

So we'd end up getting ... oh maybe 0.50 a dozen if its run efficiently...

Then it might work... but after this BYC only gets the smelly shells...

Zeriously folks,

Some of us really need to take a chill pill. I'm sorry if anyone got their feelings hurt, and were disappointed that it was not real. But doesn't it really speak to our own greed? I was totally taken in and was even on CL looking for anyone with hens or POL pullets. And I was mad, sad, disappointed when I found out that it was a joke. But then I realized I had thought that it was a way to make some fast moola, without too much work, after all, the eggs are already there, right? Heck, I was even mad because I have so many more bantams than LF.

So, when I realized that I was mad because I was just getting greedy, then I thought " You big jerk, that's what you get....."

Then it was funny. I can laugh at myself because I am not perfect, and would love to get rich quick doing something I love : Chickens

GREAT IDEA!!! How wonderful! We have always called our eggs "happy eggs." We don't really have enough to sell though. With 2 growing boys that are vegetarians except for our chicken eggs, we don't know what "extra" means. But, it's a GREAT justification for chicken math! Hope a lot of people can participate!
