Okay, I can take a joke, but how were we to know this was joke? It got a lot of folks hopes up and got them excited. Me and my husband included. I didn't find it funny not in the slightest. To everyone else, glad you had a good laugh. The let down just was not worth it to me. rant I won't be on here again until it is not April Fool's day anymore. I don't like being made a fool of. I'm sure I can't be the only one.

:hugs:bun I know how you feel - I generally take things too seriously and then people are laughing at and not with. I wish this had been more funny to you, and I'm sad that you're upset.

Take a few days to cool off, and then come back to BYC. This really is a good fun place.​
 
I'd like to be considered! Located just north of Richmond, VA.

I have 12 hens that are currently laying. I get approximately 40 eggs/wk. Breeds include white leghorn, red sex link, welsummer, barred rock, australorp, delaware. Eggs are picked up 2x/day and refrigerated immediately. Currently expanding coop/run areas, and building tractors! Yay for the new farm!

I am currently raising up: black sex link, very dark laying welsummers, delawares, marans, true ameraucans (green and blue layers).
 
I saw this first thing this morning and knew immediately - of course, I had been waiting to see what this year's prank would be. I can't believe it's still going. Too funny!

This is so funny. I continue to read the thread to see who actually is falling for this and is actually listing breeds, # of eggs picked per day/week, names of chickens, etc.
