Yes, HAT'S OFF, Jess K! That was good. I read your post this morning to Hubby and he made up one just as (dare I say) *sad*, but I wouldn't post it. I *thought* you must be one of the mods posting with an alias and that post was enough without stirring the pot more.

I had some folks PMing me after I posted what I'd named my three Marans pullets (Full, O'ba, Lony)... telling me I had given it up.

Obviously it didn't work... and so I just jumped on the bandwagon... Arizona (Red Zone) Zone leader and all....

How about Monday we all take our extra eggs and see if we can find needy families to give them too. Lots of people are having hards times and eggs are the PERFECT food source.

Actually, the eggs from our chickens have been a blessing this past year. Things have been bad in our industry and food prices have skyrocketed. I don't think they're going down any time soon, either.
