Okay you got us on that one.

I had wondered how you would recreate a large team of volunteers each year, having done a lot of non-profit organization myself...it is not easy to get good workers let alone a large team annually.

I agree much better to have them sign up for life.

Still well done to the mod's. I appreciate all you do to keep BYC fun and safe for all.

I marked the thread b/c I thought it was odd that yesterday such an announcement was made. You got me good in 2014 (ready to make foil-lined nesting boxes), so I was looking around for one this year. Thanks for keeping it interesting.

Same boat here, I had big plans to foil my nest boxes when I got home, last year. I was very suspicious of this thread when I saw what date it was, because of that lol.

Since no one is leaving, I may continue my pursuits at home and just enjoy BYC as a lowly member. Ivan3, John, this sometimes is a "roost too far", as you put it. It does take a special temperament to do this job and it's a learning experience throughout every day, and, in my opinion, changes you as a person overall if you immerse yourself in it over a period of years.
