Really, Cyn, marsupials? However, many moons ago I did drop anchor in the antipodes, while on leave, for a couple of weeks. In one of the department stores, the sign above the "ladies wear" section? "BIRD GEAR" so, there's that (I guess).
But, considering how long you flew as "wing woman" to those wishing to soar, and as the ace of eggs owing to your consistent grounding of those wishing to shoot others down? I'd nominate you to spend a year on the ISS. though being cooped up, even if above it all, might be a roost too far.

You require no formal designation. You need but post (still wondering just how many fingers you have, 60k+ ??? - I get worn out just looking at that post count).

Like Lucretius, I'm a practitioner of moderation in all things, and am more than willing and able to pony up double the money to make sure other more fully feathered flock mates, with more spring in their step and sharper eyes for the worms, maintain that even strain.

The mods have always done a good job, made far easier by the high quality of the vast majority of the members. BYC is one of the few forums where smoothing feathers trumps ruffling them. The occasional dirt bath notwithstanding.

However, this announcement seems sudden, such personnel shifts (warranted, or otherwise), often associated with predation by acquisition "artists" seeking to do nothing but lap up blood and leave the dead and dying before moving on to the next flock. Offers one can't refuse made every day of the week. There is never enough FUD...
