This is really exciting in the poultry industry right now, especially since brown eggs can bring in more money than white. I've heard that a lot of the major eggs farms will be transitioning to this new feed! (And it's a fully balanced, natural feed!)

I'm definitely getting a bag or two of this feed when my local feed store starts carrying it. I will no longer have to spend years breeding for the perfect egg color in my flock! Who needs EE's?
My questions are: 1) if I feed the blue egg feed to my dark brown egg layers will I get olive eggs? 2) What happens if I feed this to my speckled egg layers? 3) Will they come out with more colors later on other than the four mentioned? I would love to have some bright purple or red eggs.

I want to feed pale pink and pale blue to some Leghorns, so I can get purple eggs. Easter Egger egg colors are so last year.

Colorific Egg Feed.

Just an FYI for those concerned about chemicals added to a feed to change the color of the eggs. The reason why " pink flamingos" are pink is based on the diet they eat. In the wild you will see versions of pink flamingos from pure white to a dark cherry pink all based on what they eat. Also birds in the wild of the same species will have different colors of eggs as well based on their diet in the region they live. It can be done by natural selection of feed in their diet and not just chemical additives.
