Rainbow Egg Basket Feed

So, this was tested on White Leghorns, but would it affect brown and blue egg layers too? I'm guessing that the pigment for a certain egg color is found in the feed, so if I feed pale blue to one of my Plymouth Rocks, would it lay greenish eggs?

Also, how long does it stay in their system? If I fed my birds feed to lay dark brown eggs for a month, but then switched them to regular food. How long would it be before they laid their normal color of egg?

I don't mean to interrogate, and it's not that I don't trust it. I just think it's super cool and want to learn more about it.

When will it be available in stores potentially, after a name is chosen?
