This reminds me of a conversation my oldest had with me when he was about 8. He insisted that Dragons were real. I told him in all the history on this Earth, there has never been any evidence uncovered to prove they did exist. He said there is no evidence to say they didn't, and until it was proved otherwise, he would say Dragons were real. He absolutely thought because the Komodo is a dragon, that flying fire breathing dragons must have existed too.

He too was a fan of the Loch Ness Monster, and believed it to be a plesiosaur.
