A little more progress; a few more tiny flakes of shell have fallen away, but I can still see membrane. No zipping yet, and nothing from anyone else. If things go the way they usually do, I'll start freaking out at bedtime that nothing is happening, DH will make me stop staring at them and get some sleep, and I'll get up in the morning and find a couple of chicks fully hatched and wondering what all the fuss is about.

since i am only new finding these threads for first time...I have April Fool Chicks in Australia Happening. It is 8.56 and I have 1 black Pekin hatched and got 2 Golden spangled Hamburghs pippin and a third egg has chirping in it...so excited...the hamburgh eggs travelled half of the height of australia to get to me....can't wait...good luck to all the others
