I was just about to go to sleep when I heard a distinct "Peep peep!" from the incubator. I went over to check, and my bantam sumatra egg has pipped! First pip!

Now sleeping is not going to be an easy task... It's exciting to think I may wake up to a chick, though!

Well I've been watching this thread and enjoying reading about everyones pips and peeps

and finally our lockdown is tomorrow afternoon

then just getting through the next couple of days waiting

Oh we also are going to do a second candle tomorrow as well. we checked the first time on day 9 and all 26 were showing progress

but this is only our second attempt at hatching the first went awful so definitely hoping for a better go at it this time~

I have 12 gray call duck eggs on day 25 today. So they are due around the mid-end of day 26. So far I have one pip.

Im so excited to see these babies, I have a new hen, and a new drake that im using to breed.

No chicks yet this morning (let me tell you, I sure DREAMED about chicks everywhere!), but the unlabeled egg next to the sumatra egg has pipped as well. C'mon little ones, let's hatch!

I keep running in my room looking through my bator window just to check, mine are due tomorrow or Thursday. I seen 2 rockers...........

My chick's finally hatched!! Out of 4 bantam modern game egg's 2 hatched. The other two quit early on. We just put another dozen in the bator last Thursday along with 21 OEG I'm hatching for my brother. They are just so tiny and cute. I stayed up all night waiting for them to hatch because of course on my way to bed I noticed a small crack in one the more I looked I realized it hat pipped and so had the other one. Of course they didn't hatch until 5:00 am but I kept checking them every hour and my son kept coming in and waking me mom I think they are hatching he of course thought he needed to sleep in the living room in case they hatched! Needless to say neither of us got any sleep. Here are a picture of the two along with a BB Red that hatched last week and my youngest who has already gotten attached to them!
