I set a dozen Blue Spash Marans last night @ 10pm Also threw in a dozen mutts, by mutts I mean random eggs from a friend, who has a mix of evreything running around!

I set 4 dozen americana eggs on the 1st. THey were all blue and I am excited to see what they turn out to look like. they are from my own stock that came from Mcmurry farms last year. I have two nonrelated roosters with my 24 hens so I hope that fertility is good. Incubating in a Dickey cabinet. Hope all goes well. Good luck to everyone that is hatching and incubating.

I have 2 americana eggs due the 7th, super excited and I have 5 more americanas as well as 4 bantam mixes due the 17th

I have 3 Muscovy duck eggs in my bator that were due 4/6 but last night signs were pointing toward an early arrival. Went ahead and locked down a day early.. GLAD I did!! I'm hearing quacking tonight and it was JUST supposed to be lockdown day

. My chicks were two days early too!

candled tonight and still 16 out of 19 eggs look great, lots of movement and veins.

One is I think, not fertile (clear) and then I have the one with the black spot, and then one that is dark and I have having a very hard time seeing into that one, even with a different flashlight.

I will leave those 3 in unless they begin to smell or at least right before lockdown.
