13 pips already on day 20? That's awesome! I hope you get a hatch before he gets home!

I'll take pics when I get home from work later. Hopefully, I'll have more chicks by then.

Well now it's 14 pips lol! But no zips or hatches, and he could be home any minute. But that is fine! Maybe he will get to see one hatch before he goes to church, sure wish I didn't have to go anywhere today! I can't wait, and I hope you have lots more by the time you get home!

Just got 1 of 3 boxes of eggs delivered this morning! I called the PO this morning at 6:50am (I was WAY too excited to hear if they had my boxes). They said it was too early and hadn't sorted boxes yet. They told me to call back in a couple hours. So I did and they said it was already out on the truck for delivery! WHAT?!?!? I had told them if they had my box to call the number on the box and I'll come pick it up. Thanks for listening usps

Thankfully, they called my post lady and she and I were able to meet along her route. So now for the great news... I got home, opened the box to find 17 beautiful silkie eggs

The BYCer who I bought them from added 5 extras. So happy!!! I have blue, black, buff and white silkie eggs. I told DH we may have to buy a second incubator because I may not be able to fit all the eggs in one LOL. And the addiction continues.....

2 more boxes arriving tomorrow with at least 12 eggs/box. 12+ Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas and 12+ Wheaten Marans.

The incubator is holding steady at 99.5*-100* and humidity is hanging around 30%

I am so glad that all your eggs made it there ok! The post office can be so aggrivating most of the time!!!!!

Day 16 one of my two eggs is moving, should i stop rotating tomorrow?? Their pekin/cochin bantam.

Scratch that both of them now candled today so nervous about opening the bator again.

i will join i have 27 ee crosses to hatch on the 13Th. can't wait to have some babies again. a friend of mine gave me and my son are first eggs too hatch we have 5 hens and 1 rooster 3 ee hens 2 cross hens ee cross rooster. my son is so excited to have babies again. he is 4.

Day 13. So far 1 is definatley not good and 2 still questionable. Tomorrow I am going to take out all of the bad eggs. Crossing my fingers that i dont have to take out anymore than 3.

USPS doesn't have a clue! I had put a stop on my mail 4 days before eggs were due to arrive and they still delivered everyday! When I called to see if they had come in on the 5th they said no, I called again just to be obnoxious and they said yes they were out with the carrier already! They tell me come over in 1 hour. So I go to pick them up and they say sorry they are still in Houston. I almost walk out the door, but I am nearly certain the tracking said "departed 4 am" sooooo I ask the other worker he goes back and comes out with my eggs! The other girls says, and I quote "How did you do that?' He said "I went and checked". I think I will be looking for a more local source for hatching eggs from now on. The box was smashed too... Any who GOOD LUCK! Shipped or not with that many eggs your bound to get some chicks!

usps is all messed up. a month or so ago i gave my local PO my number to call when the live fish i was getting arrived so id be awake and he wouldn't sit out in the cold...never called me and he spent two hours in the cold mail box...but he is fine and very feisty so no harm done.

back on the 27th i had half of my button quail eggs arrive and again they did not call me and tell it was here and so the spent three hours in the mail box...i did not hurt them to much as i've seen blood vessels and a tiny chick moving around in a couple of eggs from this batch.

two fays later the other half of my eggs arrived and the postmaster actually calls me! so i was up and waiting for the delivery guy to get here...the only difference between this box and the one a couple days before is this one said live embryo hatching eggs on it where the first just said eggs but still with all the other writing on the box you think the postmaster would of called me to tell me about the first box to but she didn't.


day 14 for all these eggs is tomorrow so i will turn the egg turner off up the humidity and wait for day 16(the 13th) which is hatchday and see what chicks hatch out

I have had day 25 hatches........and one time a day 27.........
hoping you good luck.

I am day 22 without even a pip.
Pretty sure my eggs are toast but hoping I am wrong............
These are the eggs I spent a lot of money for,of course.
I am running an LG still air and it has been affected by the temp changes in the house.

Hatch day...not a pip to be seen or heard.

I'm really happy with my eggs so far! As of day 7 I have 11 of 12 that are for sure developing! I can see movement in 7 with veins

and the other 4 are dark with air cells developing so I know there is something happening. The 1 egg that is still a little clear does have something going on, just no movement. Not too shabby!
