I guess I have become a lurker.
Since my eggs didn't make it.
I should be starting more this week. But none due until May.
Now I need a may hatch-a-long thread..

We've got our first pip in a RIR egg, and a rolling Japanese egg! Maybe babies by tomorrow!!!

After seeing my first pip, I used a flashlight to see through the windows into the rest of the incubator. And one of my olive Egger eggs has pipped HUGELY. I'm watching as other eggs rock and one is rolling (annoying when they do that, I think. I'm always worried the chick will end up upside-down and will suffocate!)
But hey, two pips!

I am due to lockdown on Thursday... This is my first ever hatch, I am so nervous that something will happen to them. One of them has a detatched air cell so it is on the side of the egg and not the top. I have been reading up on things here on BYC so I can improve that chicks outcome. I'm rather attatched to that one egg most of all. It is the first egg I spotted development and first egg I saw moving. Anyway Congrats to all of you that have had success, I will update when I know something further on my eggs.
