APRIL Quail Hatch-A-Long!!! (come join!)

sorry, I'm late but I'm hatching jumbo Coturnix quail too. I'm friends with a guy that owns a developing hatchery (ZB2C). put them in on easter. All is well so far. Just experimenting with my incubator this hatch though. It's an old little giant 9200.
Great! No need to be sorry 😂. The more people that are on this thread, the more baby quail we all get to see!!

Hatched 20 almost 3 weeks ago. At the end of this week they will finally go outside if the weather is good. First time hatching quails and I found they are so easy to hatch. I lost only one that stopped developing. Mine after eating.. nap time😂

I had a bad hatch... 3 out of ten. two jumbo wilds and one tuxedo. I figured out the bad hatch was because of my thermometer. It read 100 when it was fluctuating between 103-105. Quail eggs are very forgiving
Oh im sorry! I just had a failure as well with a bad thermometer but the other way around. 0 out of 5 eggs. One got SUPER close though. Said 99.5 when it was actually 89. I don't know how they even developed at all.
