For those who were interested in the outcome the chick hatched last night and is a chipmunk pattern with clean white legs. Weird so now I'm wondering if it is the silky's egg at all, is this possible? I only have silkies, cochins, and polish bantams and it was a bantam sized egg. and all but the polish are feather legged breeds. But the polish eggs are white and this one was off-white beigey colour. Strange. I haven't actually taken it out of the incubator yet since its waiting for its hatchmates!

My first ever chick and the he pipped and zipped perfectly and got up within about 5minutes, hes now playing soccer with the rest of the eggs!
