araucana statistics

Love your chickens! My EE laid green eggs but now she hasn't since her last molt. I wonder if it is still too wintery (in CA?) or she has decided she is too old. I think she hatched in 2002

Ive probably done this too, but just an observation, the last questions were about the araucana/ameraucana mix, and some of us are gitting a little off topic. there is room for other topics and pm-ing.

I don't think I went off topic, but if I did I apologize. Your topic was araucana statistics - are they good mothers, how well do they lay, etc.. not about a mix. You later posted asking about mixes, but as I said I don't mix them. Sorry, maybe someone else can help there. Good luck.

I have 6 americaunas from McMurray (guess they're really EE's). They have been laying very well all winter long--nice blue-green eggs. Not sure if they are/will be broodie and good moms yet, but they sure seem to be good layers.

you should change your topic to EE because that is what they are they are mutt birds easter eggers. They are production based mixes but sometimes do go broody. (almost everyone on here has one LOL so just ask about them)
