I wanted to have breeding pens set up by the end of the month but it isn't looking too good. Plus I need to get Tim moved out of his family flock. Manolito won't even let Tim tidbit to the girls, let alone drop a wing on anyone. Poor Tim spends most his day alone, away from the flock. The state show is in mid October and I really wanted a mass hatch by early April in hopes of having a show prospect in there. I at least wish Lucy would start laying; because my most beautiful chicks and best tufts come from her and Triton (the triple tufted cock).
