I was looking, cackle might have some. I'm going to call this spring. I know they won't be amazing, but it will be something, and I can work on them as they grow

There are no hatcheries that sell Araucanas. If they say they do, they are just mislabeled Easter Eggers.I was looking, cackle might have some. I'm going to call this spring. I know they won't be amazing, but it will be something, and I can work on them as they grow
These ones were specified as arucanas. The rumpless, tufted chicken. There are no hatcheries that sell Araucanas. If they say they do, they are just mislabeled Easter Eggers.
I figured I'd call and see if they even had some, they had a few breeds that sounded like they didn't sell them anymore and just never girly rid of the page for some reason
Yikes. That's rather worrying. I'm definitely going to try and find someone willing to ship chicks/older birds then if I can cause I'd have to have eggs shipped to me too
Yeah, but if that's good without being shipped, then I can't imagine risking a 10-15% chance of hatching with their prices25-30% is considered good for Araucanas. Shipped eggs in general doesn't matter the breed, if you can hatch 50% that's pretty darn good.
So my friend got 10 eggs. 7 made it to lockdown. 3 hatched. That's 30% hatch on shipped eggs. They tend to die in shell at the end unfortunately. I can find out who she bought them from. I think it was someone in GA.Yeah, but if that's good without being shipped, then I can't imagine risking a 10-15% chance of hatching with their prices
