Araucana thread anyone?

yikes had to dig this up from page 4! I've heard of there being an egg color chart out there for araucana eggs, similar to the one they have for marans eggs. Anyone know where i can get one?
Thanks

Yes, not good to let our thread go off page one. Here's why I am not breeding birds yet:

My tractor with loader bucket is under that. We are in the middle of the third snowiest winter on record.

WHOA!! If we ever had something like that, everyone's roofs would collapse in. We are NOT built for snow, - Anything above 6 inches and the roofs creak; trees fall.

Well I am super excited. I now have 3 Araucanas who are either laying or about to start laying again within 24 hours.

Yeah, a lot of dairy barns in VT have caved in this winter, many cows have been lost. A milk goat farmer had her hoop structure cave in on top of all of her goats. She was lucky that all got dug out eventually and were alive. I have 7 foot piles of snow at the moment. It just reflects the sun away so melting is very snlow.

Syble,

You can get the egg color chart for $ 3.00 from the Araucana club. Go to their store page and it is there along with Cathy Brunsons Book which I highly recommend and the Araucana club coffee mug. I have 1 of those to.

I got my SOP today. It is so heavy. I wish they had done illustrations on all the colors of the Araucana especially since they are such a unique bird. Oh Well.

Thanks Lanae, I'll have to put that on my to get list soon. Spent all my current free money on some hatching eggs hehe.
