Araucana thread anyone?

Ok, although I haven't given up ALL hope with heritage turkeys, I'm getting close.

Don't seem to have a lot of problems hatching chicken eggs, tho'. We've got RIR and BAs

Does anyone still have any araucana hatching eggs for sale this late in the year? I'd be particularly partial to anything with blue feathers, as our farm is called Blue Feather Hollow. We were trying to raise blue slate turkeys, but we've been spectacularly unsuccessful in the last 3 summers getting anything to hatch.

We used to raise Americaunas - had three that lived to be 11 years old!!

Gotta be close to a record. No kidding, we had to put a "handicapped" ramp up to the hen house door so they could get in! They all laid green eggs, but blue ones would be so much fun for our one and only granddaughter to find in the nest boxes - she loves the color blue!! She loves to come over to Poppi and MiMa's house and check out the nest boxes.

Please PM me if you will have any eggs for sale in the next week or so.

I have a few double tufted roos chicks available if anyone is interrested pm me. I have a double tufted blue, bbr, wheaten, and black. None are show quality. All are rumpless. Can probably come up with a pullet to go with also. The pullets would be rumpless and cleanfaced.

I wish I lived closer to you! I would take the black, blue and wheaten from you in a heartbeat. The only ones that hatched out for me were all clean faced.

They are all large fowl. However I do have a bantam roo that is rumpless cleanfaced and umm, very girl crazy.

I have one chick out of him that is so cute and tiny and blue.
