Araucana thread anyone?

I bought mine from the Americana Araucana club and it comes in a very handy postcard size. Just perfect for holding it against your eggs.

She laid a gorgeous turquoise blue egg! More blue than my EE! Her name is Fiona Purtsy

She is such a unique color and what a CUTE name... Fiona Purtsy.

My Araucana Skye FINALLY laid an egg! One yesterday and one today. She is about 9 months old.




She laid them in the bushes and another hen copied her and laid one there as well.

What a rainbow egg basket you are going to have! Very pretty blue to those eggs!

I don't think a purebread araucana will ever have any part of a tail or rump. If it does, it is a mixed breed.

her eggs look EXACT compared to the ones on this thread. A turquoise blue,with little white flecks. And blue-er than my EE eggs!
