Araucana thread anyone?

Does anyone in or near Indiana have and Rumpless, tuffed or clean faced pullets or young hens for sale. Egg color #1 priority, want a good representation of the breed but can have flaws as they will be pets rather than breeding stock. Thanks, I have several people looking :)

Check out chicken scratch poultry. You can find them online and the McEwens are great people to work with.

Yes, thank you! I have two Rumpless a Lavender Orpington and two Olive Eggers from them. Every bird has been top notch. Looking for tuffed, Rumpless, and colors besides blue and black. The two I got from them (the black and blue) are the SWEETEST birds I have ever had, now I want more :)

He told me he does accept males back. I'm unsure if that means I will have to repurchase another chick. Do you know if that's how it works? Thanks

I got mine through them, I ended up with a silver (?), blues, and I think blue with wheaten. The question silver is mostly white then with black coming through.

I agree, unfortunately we are bound in this life to money. I despise the need for it. To profit the few on the blood and backs of the many, it's a sickness called hording. If it were any other material, these people would be treated for a mental illness. A thought from the Native Americans says as much, they felt that those who horde goods and riches to the detriment of the tribe were sick in the head and spirit. Congrats on your little rumpless! I imagine that you have access to a bunch of breeds we can't get here yet, can you tell me of some of them?

I agree with the native americans!

I think you have almost all the breeds as we do. I am jealous when I see that some of you have south american green egg layers there we don't have buckeye, aloha, delaware, java, etc. chickens. some of the chickens we have are not considered breeds. I have 2 greek hooded hens:

the black one has small tuffs like araucana but they lay white eggs.

Those are neat looking birds! I'm a sucker for weird feathers and/or colored eggs.

This is Oddball, she is the only one we got that is white and black. Is she a silver?
