Araucana thread anyone?

What's the difference between blue aracaunas and green? I got some about three weeks and four were blue 6 green but I believe now all but one turned blue

That's an outstanding number of eggs! How do you store them until you're ready to inc? How many do you expect to hatch? Did you have to fertilize the hens with a medicine syringe?
Err no- the roosters just do it the normal way. I just store the eggs in egg cartons, none are more than 10 days old.
In the past I have had 90 - 95% fertility form the Lavenders.
You need to remember our Araucanas don't have the "disabilities" that your birds do.

Sorry, just learning about these guys and gals. I remember them from when I was very young and have been determined to get them. I am just a lover of the birds and hope to breed them. That in mind I haven't the slightest really about APA, SOP, or even recognized differences among other countries breeding programmes. So thank you for the enlightenment. What other differences between American and Australian Aracaunas?

My araucanas were crossed with a crested cream legbar rooster. Some of them are crested and have little tails. I have to admit the British and Australian Araucanas are gorgeous...and now I have some of my own right here in the States. I will have to get some photos of them soon. I'm not breeding to standard or selling any of my birds/eggs are purebreds. We just call them Easter Eggers.
