So I'm guessing that US SOP is coloring/pattern, rumpless and tufted? And the UK and Australian SOP is mostly based on color and pattern?

The UK standard basically combines both Ameraucana and Araucana into the same breed. They aren't separate breeds, they are both called Araucana.
The UK standard is not a combination of both Araucanas or Ameraucanas. I can not find the exact date that the UK was accepted into their standard but I did find they were in Scotland in the 1930's. They have crests with muffs and beards and a tail and the rumpless ones have crests with tufts and muffs and beards.
The Ameraucanas were accepted in the APA in 1984 thru their due process same as the other breeds.
The Araucanas were accepted by some odd reason without going thru the proper procedures that the other breeds were subjected to. They are very difficult to breed to the standard because they are not homozygous and do not breed 100% true, really they are that difficult they do not even breed 50% true due to the heterozygous nature of the standards. I gave up on the Araucanas due to the nature of only getting 5% that meet the standard, my ameraucanas almost meet 90-100% of the standard.
