Araucana thread anyone?

I think this pullet, who I formerly believed wasn't tufted, actually is tufted! I need another set of eyes to analyze the photos I took.

Yaaay tufted! And I really do like her. Even though the boys who are keepers are tufted n rumpless, she is one of the few girls who isn't tailed.

Nice eye! Those are definitely tufts. Nice cuckoo too. I wish more people actually bred cuckoos for their color though

Norma, Where are you located? I have a few chicks of various ages that are bi-lateral tufted and rumpless but too soon to be 100% sure of the sex. Seems to take forever to sex some Araucana's. Most are blacks and blues. Charlie

I think the cuckoo color is quite beautiful. I'd never really payed it much attention before, but in person, it is very pretty! If only the girl had willow legs

but she is definitely a keeper! If enough people work on the cuckoo color, it can become a standardized color eventually, right?
