Pick 1 is not wheaten, its wild type with melanizers. Wheaten wont have an eye strip. It looks like a pullet to me. The other two picks look like blue buff columbians to me and not sure of gender but am guessing pullet also. I have two of similar age and they are darker buff columbian and very definately roos. The color is lovely in all of them.Kass, I think this Wheaten/BBR is a male also. I sure got mainly tails, no tufts and males from this hatch. Do you all think this 1st one is male judging by his more uneven coloring? There's only a couple girls in the batch, the rest ALL boys.![]()
Also, here's this one I wasn't sure of the color of a few wks back. The color is so cool looking, gray, buff & white splash on the wings and then her breast is coming in buff. I guess the trade off for so many tailed boys is that I got this really cool girl, huh?? One was taken in the shade and one was with flash.
ETA: They're 5 wks now.
