Araucana thread anyone?

To me both chicks look like they have the wild type duckwing gene. I can't tell if the lighter areas are white or gold in the pictures.
In my BBR coop I have a BBR's and BBR X Black cross hen's. They have both Wheaten and BBR in them. I used the black to try and bring out the Wheaten and I did this year get 3 chicks born yellow and turned a cinnamon red color.
I also have a gold duckwing coop.

Unless you keep the tufted roos by themselves there will always be tuft envy. When the roo calls the hen over for a scrumptious morsel he found, the hens figure it is the tufts.

This is what I am getting from the Lavender coop.

I have my first batch of eggs ever that I have incubated in the bator hatching now, I had one aracuana egg that made it to lock down and it just hatched. I'm really hoping she's a girl since I can't imagine any boy being prettier then Ari.

Me neither. I bought eggs and this is what I am getting from the parents. The parents look lavender but I can see the leakage that everyone claims is from the sun, in the roo. So this is his prodigy. I have hatched over 100 eggs from this pen and I do have 1 that looks lavender now but had that porcelain look as a chick.
