Araucana vs. ameraucana specially UK people

Hi everyone!
Long summer is almost over and i have time to ask you something. So what breed is araucana and what is ameraucana? If i read about Araucana breed from American Araucana Society site, there is written- araucana is from Chile (also continent of America) and chicken breed is rumpless. Ok, today i got e-mail from very angry person who bought Araucana chickens (
probably hatcing eggs) from UK Araucana society page ( i dont know exactly from who) So she sells rooster with tail (to me its Ameraucana not Araucana) What is the difference between the two breeds in Europe?

The UK standard for Araucanas is tailed and crested. They are known as British-tailed Araucanas. There are some American standard Araucanas floating around overseas, but more common are the British-tailed.
I can't comment on UK standard Ameraucanas - I have no idea about that.

Thanks! But i dont understand about those standards. Both are different breeds and also got different names in America. To me standards are bantams. If the chicken breed has a tail and another has no tail- we are not talking about the same breed or standards. Or?
