Are all my hens laying?

So I'm wondering if all my birds are that laying. I was expecting more eggs from my flock. We added quite a few birds and are up to 19 hens. 8 of them are pullets and all laying (all green egg layers and old birds are brown eggs) and the rest are no older than 3 years. I'm ocd I know but here's the number of eggs I got a week back

The birds do free range and I've never found eggs outside of the coop. It just seems odd to average 5 or 6 hens not laying most days.

Anyone else with similar number of hens have comparable numbers? It's been 75 degrees and sunny for a solid month here in GA so I figure they should be laying pretty steady by now!

What breeds are they? I have an EE that lays anywhere from 0-3 eggs a week and she is the same age as my WL that lays eggs every single day even in winter.

I had the same question about my flock. I have 6 black stars, 6 red stars, 6 BOs and 9 EEs. I average about 24 eggs a day and was wondering what I could do to increase production. It was explained to me that certain breeds would lay on average 6 eggs per week so that would explain my flocks egg count. Maybe that will help.

Oh that's interesting. I never thought to find our what each breed should be laying. I know the green egg layers are doing good. So in the older flock we have 2 buff orphington 2 light brahma 2 Rhode Island reds 2 barred rock and 2 that are mixed (1 half leg horn half Rhode Island 1 mostly leg horn)

...and older hens might lay less per week as they age. My 3yo Lt Brahma only lay 2-3 times a week, huge eggs... but still.

Free range birds sometimes need to be 'trained'(or re-trained) to lay in the coop nests, especially new layers. Leaving them locked in the coop for 2-3 days can help 'home' them to lay in the coop nests. They can be confined to coop 24/7 for a few days to a week, or confine them at least until mid to late afternoon. You help them create a new habit and they will usually stick with it.

An estimate for my buff is maybe 5-6 eggs a week, maybe sometimes 7. Though lately her eggs have been very soft and keep breaking, then she eats them ;(
