Are both these polish crested hens?

First time chicken keeper this year. Two of the 8 chicks we bought are polish crested but they don’t look alike. Is one a rooster? The one is black with a very rounded crown, the other buff one has longer head feathers.

The buff is a rooster, the white crested black appears to be a pullet, but seeing the whole face would help confirm it or not.

Best rooster that God could have blessed with this planet.
His name is Blu, and he loves me reading bible verses to him, and CS Lewis Chronicles of Narnia movies! Enough said!!!
