Are Cashews OK as a treat?

I have a bag of unsalted roasted cashews that my husband won't eat because he says they taste a little stail. If I break them up some is this an OK treat for my girls? They are use to veggie table scraps and a scratch mix of corn and oats for their morning treat.

Yeah, nuts are all right aslong as they're crushed small enough.
