Are Cheetos organic?

that’s really interesting

the only arrangements like that around here that I’m aware of would be with custom hay baling.

Most land owners that lease out for row crops or cattle grazing do it as a straight per acre rate.

or occasionally with smaller operations, a split yield profit arrangement for row crops. But even then the land owner is not paying for seed, amendments or spray.
It's the way it's done in the Panhandle....1/4 and 1/3. I got lucky when he contacted me about farming it.
The previous farmer was cheating me on the winter wheat or barley he was planting in the corners....the corners don't get irrigated, it amounts to about 90ac. anyway, he had planted barley that year and when he harvested it, put it in the equipment barn. When I made an unannounced visit, I discovered it and asked him about it...he said that was his share? I asked him where's mine, because I haven't recieved a receipt from the mill? which is customary! To which I got more run around from him, so I fired him on the spot and told him to have all of his equipment off the property within a week.
He bad mouth me at the local coffee house and my current farmer figured I need a 'good farmer'! He's been farming it for the last 21 years.
The farm is in the National Registry for historic sites....it has been owned and farmed by the same family (mine) for over 100 years. My great great grandfather bought 12 sections back in 1908. It was formally part of the historic XIT ranch....which has another historic site running through the middle of my 1/2 section, Blackwater Drawl. It wasn't under irrigation until the mid 60's....just dry land farming...looks like I might have to return to that, with the water levels in the aquifer dropping so rapidly. If it comes to that, I'll just farm it myself, put the whole place in winter wheat or barley! :(

I can't say what the 'advantage' is of eating the organic eggs, but my response will be regarding the labeling (or not) of organic. Maybe labeling 'Cage Free' or 'Free Range' (assuming either or both of those are the case with your chickens) would be more suitable. If you are not providing Organic feed to them, then they are not Organic eggs. Your coworker probably notices the difference between the taste of the store bought eggs and the eggs you are providing from chickens that are not stuck in cages forced to produce in an unnatural cycle.

I keep finding posts that I write in response to other responses to this thread, but I forget to hit the "post reply" button I am afraid that the long delays might could be making them less relevant. Senility does have its advantages though, I meet so many new people! Any way, I just got back from a road trip to Texas I took a car to my youngest son (long story) and rode a greyhound back. The person I had gathering eggs while I was gone told me how many there were and I was encouraged that maybe another hen was laying since here were 2 more eggs than I expected over the 4 days I was gone. so I went out this morning to check on the birds and I could not find the 2 dummy eggs I put in the laying boxes. They were in the egg basket in the house and that explains why I had 2 more than expected. So what is the point? there isn't one just that the people on here might actually think this is a funny story for a Sunday morning.

I was just out feeding the chickens and, as usual, being a little contemplative. I thought to myself, "I have always wanted to break a world's record". But, I am getting too old to really think about individual records so I thought about how I could maybe get with family and do a group record. and since I was in the chicken coop, I thought about who else in the family keeps chickens. My brother and my daughter came to mind. Now my brother is 6'4'' and not exactly slender anymore and my future son-in-law is over 6' and not slender either. I am the shortest at only 6' but probably the most not slender (by about 100 pounds!). So, where am I going with this? I think the 3 of us could possibly be--------WAIT FOR IIIIIT----- the worlds biggest 3 piece chicken tenders!

Any body think the can take the record from us? BTW I am not going to speculate on the role Cheetos played in helping us potentially set this record, unless the Frito Lays people pay for the endorsement, but you can bet they did!
