Are chickens allowed in MD suburbs?

I found out Harford county considers chickens to be domestic animals and in a residential area you are allowed only 5 domesticated animals. Call up your zoning department and they should be able to tell you.

Hi, I was wondering where did you read that? I have been searching allover for that! I thought it was five, we have five so were okay. Does this include other animals such as a dog or ducks? Because I really wanted to get a baby duckling but I do not want to break a law.
