Are chicks at your store yet?

The brand new brooders are sitting in our brand new Orschelns store but they are still empty.
I get my chicken feed there so I will post pics when they arrive.
I live in S. E Indiana & it is still a little early yet.
Anybody already got them?

I believe that chicks are due in our farm store this week. I hope they make the trip okay! We are being socked in by a winter storm today and tomorrow.

Our local feed & seed got a bunch of "bantam brown egg layers" in on Friday... I don't think I'm even going to *look*

I got my six chicks from our feed store and by the time i got them they had been in the store for a week or so.

nope they said they werent getting anything in until april, im pretty unhappy about it

Western Feed on Greenback in Orangevale, CA is getting chicks in for the next three Thursdays. Two different breeds each week. I already forgot what is due each week but they are getting Silver Laced Wyandottes, Jersey Giants, White leghorns and I can't remember the rest. The only one that interested me was the SLW. Can you tell gender in babies?

One of the local stores here was to have peeps this past Friday. It was a promo.. buy a 50# sack of chick starter and get 5 peeps for free... they are all gone.

Many of feed stores around here are starting to get chicks now. I won't be getting mine until early April though.
