Are chicks at your store yet?

Hey Esteri, Bradshaw feed . . .

Hghwy 50 take Bradshaw, go South, Its at least 5 miles down on your left, just past a light and the driveway is/was/looked like it is blocked with construction zone.

I wanna say Florin, but I think its farther than that.

Its worth the trip on a Thursday morning, 200 chicks of 5 varieties is NOTHING . . .

Where is the Western in Carmichael?
I live here, and hate fighting Greenback or Madison to get over to Orangevale.

Edit:
Yes, its Bradshaw just past Florin . . . MAP

Thanks - I've got some time today and may head over. Though I've already got 11 in the brooder, so I'm not looking to add to them at this moment. More interested in pricing feed and checking out the store.

The Western in Carmichael is a little tricky to get to. It's on Don St. Go north on Fair Oaks to the Manzanita split. Right before the split, between a Mexican place and a Rice Bowl place, is a small street that looks almost like a drive way - that's Don. You can only get to it going north on FO. 1/2 block down on the left is Western. It think it might be their original store as it has a lot of warehouse space. It's like 5 min from our house, and we get all our dog feed there. We've been to the new store in Gold River - and this one is definitely better. This store has very knowledgeable and friendly staff, and many young men happy to schlep 50# bags of feed.

When you leave, just continue in the same direction - the street makes a 90 degree turn, and dumps you out on Fair Oaks after the split. Lots of other interesting businesses down that street - a welder, furniture refinisher, auto repair...
