Are crows a threat to my chickens?

I put my dogs out. They hate crows and don't let them come around
My dog likes to go to work with me. Had he been home and they back door open, this would not have happened. It happens right after I put them out (hindsight only half hazard covered them unfortunately). But they were right next to the big girls. It is tiring.

Nope. For the second time, crows got my pullets (the 3 in my profile picture are no more as of today). All seen and heard with my own eyes while I was at work. At least 2 or 3 crows. I didn't want to see too much detail so I stopped looking and started yelling. It was too late. Gruesome scene. My 3 pullets were destroyed. 1 a few days ago was taken all together. 2 today were mutulated. Yes it happens. Crows are malicious as hell. They can hear the babies. I would much rather it had been a bald eagle TBH. It wasn't a quick death. I'm so upset.
People need to understand that crows kill more than just week old chicks. These were getting up there in size. They just killed them and left it all. I rushed home within minutes of seeing them around the pen and hearing the babies in distress. I can't even...
My brother has black birds that carry his garbage off and drop it where they can go thru it without being disturbed. I'm not sure whether they're Ravens or crows .

This morning we heard something out at the chicken coop on the baby monitor so I opened the back door and let the dogs out.I saw something dark and fat running in the opposite direction looked like a coon so I grabbed my gun, flashlight and shoes and joined in the pursuit but by the time I got out there it was nowhere around. It either ran underneath the shed or hit the hillside and got away.I'm glad it got away because they'll tear a dog up

My dad swore they kill chickens(crows) and would know.He raised chickens all his life. Its been told they'll dive and hit you in the head if they dislike you so try not to make an enemy of them. They hold grudges for life
