If you hear the crows going crazy. It may be a sign that a hawk is close by. They will chase it away. Although you should still go out and see if your flock is ok.

But CROWS are really good to have around. I used to chase them off til I realized they were chasing any wandering hawks away. With a vengence.

Crows are a threat to my chickens and eggs. I hate them! I wish that I could kill the 3 that lurk around my property. They fly down on my chickens, turkeys, ducks and geese and tease and torment them. They also try to steal all of my chickens eggs.
