RIGHT! At least that's what I tell myself. It's amazing how I can actually pick up poop with my bare hands now w/o even thinking about it. Can't believe I just admitted that...

I've not quite gotten to the bare hands point. I've reached to do it, but then caught myself and during the winter when the turds were frozen I would pick then up, but I did have gloves on so...doesn't count.

These are our two sweethearts! The brown one is slightly more friendly (which is why I have more pictures of her!). They are both about 18 weeks right now (the pictures are a little old). We believe the pekin is a male based on his voice, but it’s interesting because he’s at the bottom of them pecking order between the chickens and ducks! Any guesses on breed for the brown gal?

Really? When it quacks, it definitely sounds like a female! We've been going back and forth since we got them. What clues do you see that indicate drake? This is our first time with ducks, so we're still learning!
