Are eggs fertile?

So we bought some Old English Game hens and a roo this past weekend. The owner had told us that most the females we had bought had never seen or been with a roo. He has been having his fun with the ladies since he has met them LOL. My question is, are the eggs fertile yet? I cracked open one from today and took a picture. I think I see the ring but wasn't sure if that's it or not, so any help is appreciated. Thanks bunches

Looks infertile. Could you get a few more pics without the flash maybe?

Yeah, I can't get a good look at it to tell for sure. Try getting another picture with no flash.

I agree, can't tell. Make sure the little white dot on the yolk faces up when you take the photo also.
