My teenage son accidentally collected a dozen eggs under my broody hen who has been setting for 7 days (community nest). They were immediately returned, still warm, but I'm concerned if the eggs were moved too much. Worry or not?

I would love to see the experts answer too, would be interesting

If they were handled normally and not washed, I don't see a problem.

X2. I know some people remove eggs, take them into the house, candle them, then return them while the broody is off the nest
I thought of doing that, then decided to just let them be. Time will tell.

I never even thought of that, but you are exactly right. Should not be a problem. Thanks ya'll - appreciate the feedback!
