Are gray chickens rare?

Maybe the chart is wrong? I posted I think on 1st page. I wouldn't know myself.

And he's a handsome fellow. :)
Nope, I just checked again and the chart is perfectly correct. I was getting confused a bit.
Yea, I love the Andalusians! I have two roos (one is a Mediterranean champion) and three hens

Based on the chart, if I have a self blue roo and a black hen. its says the chicks will most likely be half black and half blue?
Self blue is essentially lavender. The chicks will probably be mostly black cause lavender is a dilute that covers unicolor black. Adding more black cancels out the lavender

Sounds like fun. :) We got really good utility hens on the farm by breeding for that. Every once in awhile a real beauty would pop up. I had one with pretty laced feathers - kind of creamy reddish - and green legs ... and my husband got up early one day and accidentally grabbed her when he was slaughtering. I'm still a little mad over that lol. I named her Willow.

I've only had two EEs - one died as a chick the first day and the other developed the worst crossbeak I've ever seen. She could only really eat if I hand-fed her. Eventually we put her down because we were just sad for her. But I had hoped to have some interesting egg colors. Sounds like you had a good mix. :)
This is Shiloh, front, and Chenoa.

Your hen sounded like my hen Marvalo. She is the hen I was talking about with the white, red and porcelain. Last year she had a bad injury to her foot, so I separated her for about a month and she probably missed only one day of laying. She lays a large green egg.
Marvalo is EE, Buff Orpington, Buff Comet, and some other breed on her father's side I'm not sure about, but that's were she gets the EE from.
