Are illegal immigrants a BIG issue where you live?

Question? Why are the people Mexico so poor? They have a fair amount of natural rescources. Reasonably good amount of irrigated farmland, because American Farmers are moving South. One of the most populous cities in the world and a great labor force for industry. Why can't they put their own people to work? Se Habla Espanol?

and i think the "speaking english" issue, is an issue of SAFETY.
think of all the things that can go wrong with working with someone on ANY kind of machinery, or fishing boat, or your kids bus driver,, and not being able to WARN them of danger,,, tornadoes, earthquakes, yelling to the old guy crossing the road that a car is coming,,but he just turns and stares at ya.

BTW - I love Spanish food AND Mexican food - but don't go to Taco Bell if you're hungry for Mexican food....but, I love TB, too. Heck - I love FOOD!
