Are my chicks safe?

Hi! :welcome We have had a Terrier/Boxer mixed dog for 9 years, he protects us, our cats, our chickens, etc. Any time any other animal comes near the property he will make a point that the chickens are "his" and that nothing hurts them.
Once a friend brought over her tiny Dachshund dog (too tiny to hurt my chickens) and she was playfully chasing a couple of chickens around the yard. Our dog heard the commotion and drove the other dog away from the flock. And until the Dachshund left he wouldn't leave the flock. He's a great dog :D

So, this is the first time I’m trying backyard chickens. I’ve had chickens all my life but I lived in the middle of nowhere, so I had room for a closed coop. I’ve just set up a fenced off area in my large backyard. My 3 australorps and 3 black sex links have a small coop that’s used for sleeping for now. They’re only a month old. I have 5 large dogs (husky size) and 4 small-ish dogs. (Corgi size) I was just wondering if anything is going to try and take my chicks? 3 out of the 5 large dogs are trained attack dogs and guard dogs. (I don’t need anyone telling me that having dogs with my chickens is bad. They’re all trained but one ((it’s a puppy)). They’ve lived with weird animals all their lives from turtles to cats to ferrets and rabbits and horses. I don’t need to hear it.) anyways, will hawks try and attack them? What about cats? I have a few feral cats that hang out in my yard. Do you think the dogs will be scary enough to keep predators away?
:thumbsup :welcome

Simple answer..YES! YES! and oh yeah...

As for the dogs, if they are outside dogs they will help keep cats and other dogs..things like that. And because you have so many help keep away pack animals. But as for birds...I don't know if they will be enough. I've heard to put up an bobbing owl but my chicks have only been outside for two days..
