Are my ladies getting close to laying?

A few of my ladies are getting redder combs and enlarged waddles. I have noticed some squatting. I heard one of them do the egg song. They are 16-18 weeks old. Are we getting closer to having layers?

Squatting, and pelvic bone spread, can happen days to a couple weeks before eggs appear.

Make sure you have their nest box ready & put some fake eggs/gold balls in there!
