Hello!!! I'm a first time chicken owner and I'm having difficulty figuring out if my silkies are roosters. I did hear some pretty good crowing this morning, but when I sat down to watch, everyone was quiet. They are about 16 weeks old. The black and brown one is "Snickers", and the orange one is "Butterfingers". I would appreciate any input!!! Thanks!!!! :)[IMG]

They have streamers on their crests, large combs for Silkies, and more brightly colored areas on wings and neck. [IMG]

I would not use them for breeding combs are not the proper color, especially the reddish one.
